Just got in the brand new USD UFS Throne style skate. Here is their USD UFS Throne Run USD Skates, now this aggressive skate comes setup stock with some pretty awesome parts. We decided to make this Custom Skate just to give you an idea of the many many different customization options Roller Warehouse offers.
The Frames:
This skate came setup stock with some Create Original frames, i like those frames alot, but i swapped them out to the Ground Control Formula 1 XS LE Black Frame. Comparing the two frames, the F1 XS’s are a little bit more ideal for a flat setup just because they will have a bigger h-block, making it so you won’t stick up on your tricks as much. Also the GC Frames have their signature sickle axle bolts, so you only need one allen wrench to swap out a wheel.
The Wheels:
These USD UFS Throne Run USD Skates came initially setup stock with some Generic 57mm Wheels, now any wheel that comes stock on a aggressive skate is never going to be that great durability wise. And these wheels are just a pinch too big for a flatsetup in my opinion. To upgrade them to something a little bit more proper i added the Undercover Iain Mcleod 2011 Black/Red 55mm 89a Wheels, these wheels are going to be alot more durable and the black urethane matches up with this Custom Skate nicely.
The Bearings:
These blades came setup stock with some Generic Abec 5 Bearings, not going to be that great, not going to be terrible. Since we’re setting this skate up with a flat rocker setup i had to throw some bearing in that will maximize the speed of the flat setup. I went with one of my personal favorite bearings the Themgoods Stockwell Bearings. These bearings are going to be alot faster and more durable than the stock ones. And these bearings are serviceable, meaning you can clean them. These bearings are very similar to a Swiss Grade bearing, meaning its a top tier bearing for sure.
The Cuffs:
Now alot of people don’t know this but we can swap out the color of any part of a skate for no additional charge. So we swapped out the stock Black V-Cut Cuff for a Red USD V-Cut Pro Style Cuffs, we also added a black Razors Replacement Buckle Straps.
